Cactus Commerce Wins Company of the Year at Ottawa Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award
OTTAWA, ONTARIO – November 23, 2007 – Cactus Commerce announced today that it has been named the Company of the Year at the 2007 Ottawa Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Awards. The annual Ottawa Chamber of Commerce awards recognize excellence across the National Capital Region. The winners were announced at a gala event in Ottawa on November 22, 2007.
Cactus Commerce Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Jean-Yves Martineau credits the hard work and dedication of the entire company stating, “We are thrilled that Cactus has won the company of the year award, though, there are 249 other people missing from this event to receive this with me”.
Cactus Commerce was chosen as the winner in the Company of the Year category for its dedication to research and development, its extensive growth in the industry, as well as its continuous community involvement. Cactus was declared a finalist in late October and received the highest honour of gold medal, among a short-list of four other companies.
