Cactus Commerce Inc. Delivers Nautilus Full-Service Online Catering and Conference Management System

Cactus Commerce Inc is a Member of the Microsoft BizTalk Server Partner Program

Mountain View — March 2, 2004 — Cactus Commerce Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, today announces Nautilus, a full-service online catering and conference management system which takes advantage of Microsoft® BizTalk® Server 2004 and other Windows Server System™ products. Designed and built for Eurest, the business dining division of food service industry leader Compass Group, Nautilus increases efficiency and promotes higher productivity among Eurest employees as well as those of its customers. This announcement coincides with the launch of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, occurring today as part of Microsoft Corp.’s Silicon Valley Speaker Series in Mountain View, Calif.

Customized to meet Microsoft’s specific requirements, Cactus designed Nautilus to integrate Compass’ delivery infrastructure with existing systems, such as Microsoft’s employee self service procurement system, to fully automate key business processes involved in simple event management. With Nautilus, up to 80% of all events can be booked online, without human intervention, enabling Eurest event managers to focus on more complex events, drive better customer service and pursue new business.

Important features of Nautilus include:

• 24-hour Self-Service Portal: provides users with a central, intuitive interface to browse/book/confirm catering and request any additional services such as meeting spaces and equipment
• System to System Integration: automates business processes between customer applications and external vendors’ systems, including financial transactions
• Centralized Reporting: provides better visibility into total spending, allowing for more accurate analysis and forecast of catering spend.
• Centralized Administration and Maintenance: facilitates new software releases and decreases IT resource requirements
