There are so many resources “out there” on social media best practices, techniques, do’s and don’ts, case studies and more. At times, it can be hard to know which are the really interesting, relevant books to read.

Enter the Ottawa Social Media Book Club organized by Ottawa Web 2.0 and social media natives Kelly Rusk and Scott Lake. Book club members meet on a regular basis to discuss books related to the ever-evolving social media trends and practices of today.
Their next meeting is scheduled for June 16 with the Cluetrain Manifesto as the book of discussion (a great free read btw).
Further, Joe Thornley of PR and Social Marketing firm Thornley Fallis, has created the Third Tuesday Social Media Book Group on Shelfari, an online social network for book lovers. You can create an account on Shelfari, join the Third Tuesday Social Media Book Group and share and learn from others in a discussion on these books.
